Cardamom Product Template Sheet

Cardamom Essential Oil has a sweet, spicy scent that will be familiar to those who are accustomed to Cardamom in (often Asian) cuisine. This powerful oil is well-known for calming the respiratory and digestive systems and can often provide relief to those who struggle on boats or long car rides. As a traditional “warming” oil, Cardamom is stimulating and uplifting. It can assist with the occasional case of a low mood and is sometimes used to enhance romantic desire.
To soothe upsets during car rides or other motion, use Cardamom Essential Oil in a portable diffuser or in an inhaler.

Diffuse in the home with Lemon or Bergamot oils for an uplifting and stimulating atmosphere.

For adults, dilute to 2-5% for topical application.

The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

One of my favorites

Cardamom is one of the ingredients if you've ever had a chai latte. It has a strong sweet spicy scent. I added coriander today, which is my 1st time using it. It smells fresh and inviting. I just notice that the cardamom is getting stronger then the coriander. Better add more water and coriander. (Lesson one) lol!

I tried this on the recommendation of Plant Therapy for my chronic cough - It has lessened that and I have recommended Plant Therapy and Cardamom to some others with COPD!

Eases digestive upset and bloating.

I use cardamon for the "too full" feeling after eating. I've had my gallbladder out and sometimes food causes digestive fullness and stomach gas. It also smells great and has a soothing effect. Highly recommend it.
