Cardamom Essential Oil has a sweet, spicy scent that will be familiar to those who are accustomed to Cardamom in (often Asian) cuisine. This powerful oil is well-known for calming the respiratory and digestive systems and can often provide relief to those who struggle on boats or long car rides. As a traditional “warming” oil, Cardamom is stimulating and uplifting. It can assist with the occasional case of a low mood and is sometimes used to enhance romantic desire.

To learn more about our Cardamom's uses and benefits, check out our Cardamom essential oil spotlight blog post.

To soothe upsets during car rides or other motion, use Cardamom Essential Oil in a portable diffuser or in an inhaler.

Diffuse in the home with Lemon or Bergamot oils for an uplifting and stimulating atmosphere.

For adults, dilute to 2-5% for topical application.

5.0 5  Warming, inviting, and spicy!

I love to use Cardamom essential oil in digestive and perfume blends. It really does help improve my mood, and I love that it is Kidsafe! It blends beautifully with other spice oils - anise, cinnamon, coriander, fennel, allspice... but smelling it always sends me to the kitchen to fix a cup of Chai tea :-)

5.0 5  Beautiful!

I love having a kid-safe option for a spicy scent! This cardamom brings a delightful warming scent to a blend and I love to include it with orange for a welcoming way to start the day over breakfast with our children, and it doesn't compete with brewing coffee.

5.0 5  My favourite spice

I must admit I'm a big fan of cardamom, I add the spice(not the oil!) to my tea and to cooking on a regular basis. This oil never fails to make me happy either on its own or in blends. Rich, spicy, warming and evocative and the scent is true to the spice. Highly recommended.

5.0 5  Spicy and warm

Not as spicy as ginger, but warmer. Exactly what you'd expect from a good cardamom.
