Blue Cypress Product Template Sheet

This lovely blue oil is obtained by steam distilling the wood of this native Australian tree. The only other "blue" essential oils known in aromatherapy are obtained from flowers. Like most of the "blue" oils, Blue Cypress is a wonderful support for reddened, congested skin, can help keep minor skin breaks "clean", and can help with respiratory support. For emotional uses, it is felt to be calming and soothing to a restless spirit. It has been used in perfumery as a "fixative" and as a grounding note in essential oil blends.
Add equal amounts of Blue Cypress, Myrrh and Frankincense Carteri to a carrier oil (Fractionated Coconut, Jojoba) and apply to reddened, irritated skin at the 1-3% dilution.

Diffuse Blue Cypress with any floral oil (Rose, Ylang Ylang) for soothing the mind; Blue Cypress also blends well with most citrus oils.

The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

Was just diagnosed with pneumonia. I have blended Blue Cypress (good for respiratory problems), Jack Pine, Eucalyptus (globulus), and Petitgrain (citrus aurantium). All good for respiratory problems. I am praying that this blend helps. It smells really wonderful! (Sorry, the Petitgrain is from another company.) I will let you know how things turn out.

Great Oil

Blue cypress smells wonderful when diffused or applied to the skin. By the very best quality about it is how it soothes my skin. I applied it to some bug bites and got immediate relief. I use it on my face when I have a breakout and it soothes and reduces inflammation.

Beneficial blue cypress

It is used for it's antiseptic, antispasmodic, antibacterial, stimulating and antirheumatic properties. I add it in my face oil as it is also used to treat acne. I am also going to try it in massage oil to help with leg cramping. It is great for healing wounds and killing bacteria on the skin. It is a thicker oil and comes out of the bottle slower than other oils. It has a woodsy, piney, clean scent.

Excellent Topical

The smell of this oil might be strange for some given it's smokiness. I find it is a great topical for irritations like insect bites or redness. I have never smelled this oil before, so I cannot judge it by comparison, but overall I think it is great.
