Blue Cypress Product Template Sheet

This lovely blue oil is obtained by steam distilling the wood of this native Australian tree. The only other "blue" essential oils known in aromatherapy are obtained from flowers. Like most of the "blue" oils, Blue Cypress is a wonderful support for reddened, congested skin, can help keep minor skin breaks "clean", and can help with respiratory support. For emotional uses, it is felt to be calming and soothing to a restless spirit. It has been used in perfumery as a "fixative" and as a grounding note in essential oil blends.
Add equal amounts of Blue Cypress, Myrrh and Frankincense Carteri to a carrier oil (Fractionated Coconut, Jojoba) and apply to reddened, irritated skin at the 1-3% dilution.

Diffuse Blue Cypress with any floral oil (Rose, Ylang Ylang) for soothing the mind; Blue Cypress also blends well with most citrus oils.

The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

This statement has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Bottles are filled by volume. Some bottle sizes may not be filled to the top, but do contain the volume of oil specified.

5.0 5  True Blue!!!

I love diffusing this oil. From the very moment I am adding drops and see the pretty blue, I feel my body relax. There’s something about that perfect hue against clear water that starts the process, and the calming woodsy scent completes it. I have used this oil during meditation, and it has been a wonderful addition to the quiet practice.

3.0 5  mild

I was surprised when I opened the bottle... I was expecting a much stronger scent... this is so faint I can hardly smell it. I guess I thought it would be stronger like my other cypress oil. I primarily bought it for the health benefits, but I do love the light blue color too!

5.0 5  Good woodsy scent

This oil is a beautiful blue color. Very different scent from cypress, less woodsy and not as strong. Rounds out several blends, my favorite use is with lavender and bergamot. I'm looking forward to using it for the skin, too.

5.0 5  nice oil

haven't gotten to play with this one too much yet, but used it on a nose that was sore from a recent cold/stuffy nose. (you know when you suddenly find yourself needing a tissue but all you have is that awful sandpaper stuff at work... and a few hours later your nose is on fire...) well mixed this in a bit of aloe gel and tamanu oil and it really helped the nose feel better! smell is nice. not so forest-y like a fir, much more subtle woods
