The warm, mild aroma of Black Pepper will remind you of freshly ground peppercorns combined with a soft floral scent. While you may not desire to diffuse it by itself, it can spice up your favorite diffuser blend. Black Pepper is an excellent choice to help in reducing occasional discomfort after exercise or easing achy joints that are associated with normal aging or wear and tear.
Add Black Pepper to a carrier oil and and gently massage into the affected area. Black Pepper can also be helpful for occasional digestive issues such as queasiness, bloating, and discomfort.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

Helps with nicotine cravings

I bought this because other literature says it helps with tobacco cravings. I bought it for my husband because he is a smoker and attends a lot of meetings. He says inhaling this scent does in fact help take the edge off. And I love PlantTherapy's reasonable prices!

Essential pairing with Turmeric

Black Pepper works synergistically with Turmeric to boost it's absorption in the body, so I like to combine this oil with Turmeric. Black Pepper is also useful for pain relief.
