Kunzea Product Sheet

Kunzea Essential Oil is one of the most cherished, yet lesser-known, oils derived from native Australian plants. This oil is steam-distilled from the Kunzea ambigua shrub that grows wild in Tasmania and Australia's eastern coast. It is noted for its unique composition, including a very high level of alpha-pinene, which contributes to its woody, medicinal scent. Kunzea has been used for centuries by native cultures to soothe tired muscles and expedite recovery from injuries and overexertion. Like Tea Tree Oil, Kunzea can be used on teenage blemishes or other instances of red, irritated skin. Many people also diffuse this oil to help release worries.

To learn more about our Kunzea's uses and benefits, check out our Kunzea essential oil spotlight blog post.
For topical use, dilute with aloe vera jelly and apply to the area you wish to treat. You can also diffuse Kunzea Oil in the home for a fresh and emotionally cleansing scent.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

5.0 5  In love with this scent!

I find it is floral, like a slightly medicinal rose (but not too heavy on the rose). It blends well with almost every EO I use. It's Kid Safe, which is important to me. The various uses make it an oil to keep on hand all the time. I've used it for most of its reported purposes and it has worked well for each one. Love it!

5.0 5  Great for acne/breakouts

I originally began using this oil for muscular/trigger point pain; and it does a fantastic job at that. But recently, I began using it for breakouts I've had on my face. WOW! As it states, it is great for relieving redness. Also, it got rid of a couple of my zits overnight! Swelling and redness completely gone. If you ever suffer from zits you think are gone and then they come back (what?!), it works on them too! Additionally, it softened my skin. Just amazed by the multitudes of uses this wonderful oil has. I will be using it on my son's acne next. He's a tougher case, so stay tuned!

5.0 5  nice alternative to tea tree

My kids get eczema at times, and we normally treat with tea tree or lavender. This is a nice addition to the rotation! I think it smells so good - and PT prices, quality, and customer service can't be beat.

4.0 5  Smells almost lemony to me.

I like smell of it better than tea tree oil, almost lemony to me. Have not use it instead of tea tree yet, but will next time i have a soar throat to compare.

4.0 5  Medicinal Smell but OK

I purchased to use in pain type blends but forgot about it until recently ... duh ... I've just recently started using it for achy knees (I climb a lot of stairs daily) and at the suggestion of a friend, added it to my nighttime relaxing before bed diffuser ... the smell has grown on me and now it's a daily-use-in-some-form oil for me.
