Kunzea Product Sheet

Kunzea Essential Oil is one of the most cherished, yet lesser-known, oils derived from native Australian plants. This oil is steam-distilled from the Kunzea ambigua shrub that grows wild in Tasmania and Australia's eastern coast.

It is noted for its unique composition, including a very high level of alpha-pinene, which contributes to its woody, medicinal scent. Kunzea has been used for centuries by native cultures to soothe tired muscles and expedite recovery from injuries and overexertion.

Like Tea Tree Oil, Kunzea can be used on teenage blemishes or other instances of red, irritated skin. Many people also diffuse this oil to help release worries.

For topical use, dilute with aloe vera jelly and apply to the area you wish to treat. You can also diffuse Kunzea Oil in the home for a fresh and emotionally cleansing scent.

The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

Bottles are filled by volume. Some bottle sizes may not be filled to the top, but do contain the volume of oil specified.

5.0 5  Another grand oil

I am using this along with Palo Santo, Elemi, and Copaiba in a joint and muscle lotion. I have also used this in the diffuser and love the effect.

4.0 5  soothes

update: I've been using Kunzea a bit more lately. during winter season, I struggle with irritation and acne on my scalp. After success with treating the rashes on my cheek (marks have faded as well) I started using Kunzea, diluted in grapeseed oil, to soothe those areas on my scalp. I can still get overwhelmed by the scent, so I do not use daily.

recommend  Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

4.0 5  reminds me of geranium and tea tree . . .

I have not yet used this topically but have only diffused it. I did not love it at first, but it has grown on me. I definitely plan on using it on some PMS-related acne. I much prefer the smell of this to tea tree oil for topical use. :)

4.0 5  Lovely floral medicinal scent

It took me a while to get used to the medicinal scent, but I loved it for neuropathy-type pain blends for my hands/wrist (1-3%) and for soothing mild skin irritation ( 0.5% or less) on my cheeks. My neighbor and friend's dogs seem to love me when I have it on.

recommend  Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
